Classroom Management

DCAClab provides a Classroom Management feature, enabling teachers and administrators to effectively manage and follow up with their students. This feature allows educators to create classrooms, enroll students, and monitor their progress, making it an essential tool for interactive learning.

How to Start Managing Classrooms

Step 1: Sign In

  • Teachers or admins need to log in to their DCAClab account.

Step 2: Access the Dashboard

  • In the main menu, click on the Dashboard.

Step 3: Manage Classrooms

  • Click on the Manage Classrooms button to open the classrooms page.
  • Here, you can view all the classrooms you have created and the number of students enrolled.

How to Enroll Students

Step 1: Open the Classroom Page

  • Click on the Classroom button from the dashboard to navigate to the classroom page.

Step 2: Manage Students

  • Click on the Manage Students button.

Step 3: Add Students

  1. Go to the Add Students tab.
  2. Click on the green Copy button to copy the unique classroom link.
  3. Create an email and paste the copied link into it.
  4. Send the email to all your students.

Step 4: Student Enrollment

  • Students need to:
    1. Create a DCAClab account and sign in.
    2. Click on the classroom link from the email to join the classroom.

Listing Students’ Accounts

  • To view the list of students in a classroom:
    1. Click on the classroom name from the classrooms listing.
    2. Go to the Manage Students section.
    3. Select the Show Students tab to view the list of enrolled students.

Resetting Students’ Passwords

If students cannot reset their passwords, teachers or admins can assist by:

  1. Clicking the Settings icon next to the student’s name in the student list.
  2. A dialog box will appear to Change User Password.
  3. Enter a new random password and share it with the student for login.

Viewing Students’ Work

Teachers can view students' circuit designs and progress:

  • Click on a specific circuit to view it in detail.
  • Alternatively, click on the student’s name to see all their submitted circuits on a single page.
